Karson is Ms. Jones' Outstanding OIier focused on Feel It, Face It, Fix It. Karson is a wonderful example of what it looks like to feel emotions in a healthy, positive way. When he experiences big feelings, he doesn’t ignore them or let them take over. Instead, he pauses, notices what he's feeling, and uses the tools we practice in class, like taking a deep breath, asking for space, or talking through the problem. Because of this, he's able to move forward calmly and make thoughtful choices. His willingness to face his feelings shows maturity and helps create a supportive and respectful classroom environment.
