Happening Tomorrow!!!! Enjoy a book walk, meet your favorite book characters, get temporary tattoos, indulge in snacks, grab free books, spend time with reading dogs, win attendance prizes, explore raffle baskets, and strike a pose at the photo booth – all at no cost! Registration starts at 5 pm at the kindergarten doors. The event will run from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. See you there!

Everyone who earned a Superstar Ticket during the month of April was entered into a second chance drawing, and these were our lucky winners! Mrs. Hinnen and Mr. Hensley say their class choose Brooke as their Outstanding Oiler of Perseverance and they couldn’t agree more. She shows perseverance in anything and everything she does. They feel so lucky to have her in their fifth grade class and know she will do great things in middle school. Way to go Brooke!

Mrs. Schranck says Milo was the first student that came to mind when she saw this month's character word: Perseverance. Milo has come so far this year, and she couldn't be more proud of him. Milo has been working really hard on managing his emotions, using calm down strategies, and continuing to move on even when things are difficult and not giving up. Milo is a great student and always completes his classwork and homework. Keep up the great work, Milo!

Mrs. Naylor and Mrs. Green's class chose Curtis as the Outstanding Oiler of Cooperation. Curtis is a wonderful example of cooperation. He is always willing to work with any classmate. He participates in any setting in the classroom. Curtis is kind and respectful to his teachers and peers. He is great at including others and giving encouraging words. Way to go, Curtis!

Davonta was nominated as Outstanding Oiler of Cooperation for Mrs. Wille’s class. Mrs. Wille says Davonta is a great example of cooperation inside and outside of the classroom. He is always including others to participate in games, willing to work as a group to complete a task, and always shows respect to his classmates and teachers. Davonta is such a good sport and frequently participates in group games and encourages others along the way. Way to go Davonta! We are so proud of you!

Bria who is Mrs. Darr’s Outstanding Oiler of Honesty. Mrs. Darr says Bria is an honest student. She tells the truth when asked even in difficult situations. She plays fairly and by the rules.
