Karson is a shining example of integrity in Mrs. Naylor and Mrs. Green’s classroom. He consistently does the right thing, even when no one is watching. He is honest, kind, and always encouraging to his classmates. Over the course of second grade, Karson has shown tremendous growth—not only academically but personally. He began the year quiet and hesitant to participate, but he has worked hard to overcome his fears and now confidently shares his thoughts with the class. Karson holds himself accountable and continues to push himself to grow, lead, and support others. We are so proud of the incredible young person he is becoming.

Silas is Mrs. Jones' Outstanding Oiler of Integrity. He consistently shows integrity both in and outside of the classroom by doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. He takes responsibility for his actions, treats others with respect, and always puts forth his best effort in his work. Silas is honest, dependable, and a positive role model for his peers. I am so proud of you Silas, keep shinning bright.
Attention Families! The summer lunch program will be located at the Middle School this year. Kids and teens up to age 18 can come eat a FREE lunch at the white picnic tables behind the middle school. Lunches will be served from 11:30-12:30 Monday-Thursday starting on Tuesday, May 27th. The program runs until school resumes in August. The building will be closed on national holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth and July 4th). Students must be present to get their lunches and lunch must be eaten on campus.
Madesyn has been chosen as Mrs. Belloso’s Outstanding Oiler of Integrity. She consistently shows honesty, responsibility, and strong character in all she does. Madesyn has a strong sense of right and wrong and will choose the right choices even when the others around her don't. Her classmates and teachers admire her for always doing the right thing, even when it's not the easiest choice.
Cameron was chosen as Ms. Baker's class Outstanding Oiler of Integrity because he is always honest, responsible, and follows all of our school rules, even when no one is watching. Cameron sets a wonderful example for his classmates through being kind, taking turns, and making safe choices. Cameron is a great friend to everyone and always tries his best in everything that he does. We are so proud of you, Cameron!
Annabelle is Mrs. Booten and Mrs. McBride's class Outstanding Oiler of Integrity. She is a shining example of integrity by always being kind and honest to others. Annabelle is reliable, fair, and does what is right...even when it can be hard. We can count on Annabelle to lend a helping hand to anybody in need. She is so friendly and always has kind words to say. Annabelle goes out of her way to cheer up a friend if they are feeling sad. She is an amazing role model, and we are so lucky to have her in our class!!
Mrs. Hinnen and Mr. Hensley's class has the fabulous Atticus as our Outstanding Oiler for Integrity. He has made such big strides this 5th- grade school year. We are so proud of him. We know he will finish this year strong, and we will miss him at the middle school next year. Way to go Atticus!
Mrs. Scrhranck chose Malaia as my Outstanding Oiler of Integrity because she leads by example and is often found doing the right thing even when no one is watching. Malaia is a trustworthy student that I can go to when I need an errand run or any type of assistance in the classroom. She is part of our Student Leadership Council and follows one of our main purposes which is being a role model for others. Malaia follows classroom and school expectations, puts her best effort into all of her work, and is a leader to her peers. I am so proud of the hard work you have put in this year, Malaia! Keep it up as you move into the middle school next year!
Esme is Mrs. Booten and Mrs. McBride's Outstanding Oiler of Perserveance. He has shown perseverance all year long. She is patient and willing to work hard, especially with writing. Esme tries her best even when she begins to feel frustrated. Esme does not give up when things get tough, and that is why she is our Outstanding Oiler of Perseverance.
Davin is Mrs. Naylor and Mrs. Green's Outstanding Oiler of Perserverance. He has shown incredible perseverance throughout the school year. No matter the subject or challenge, he gives his best effort and never gives up. His determination to do the right thing and continue growing is truly admirable. Since his first-grade year, Davin has come such a long way, making remarkable progress. His hard work and dedication are paying off, and we are so proud of his growth. Keep up the hard work and keep persevering, Davin!
Anna is Mrs. Luce's student for Outstanding Oiler of Perserverance, because of how hard she works! Anna works on her school work and does not give up! She has made remarkable progress since starting at Eastwood as a 2nd grader, and this year as a 3rd grader she is memorizing sight words, math facts, & is able to read more because of her perserverance! Her attendance has been great as well! She has persevered to make positive changes and it shows! Congratulations, Anna!
Carleigh is Mrs. Darr's Outstanding Oiler of Perserverance. She is a student who shows perseverance in everything she does. She has been working so hard at math stations. When she faces a difficult math problem, she doesn’t give up—she keeps trying different strategies until she finds the right answer. Her hard work is paying off. She just recently got a perfect score on her math assessment! When learning to read tricky words, she practices every day and asks for help when needed. Carleigh knows that mistakes help her learn, and she never lets challenges stop her from doing her best. Her determination inspires her classmates to keep trying, too!
