Mrs. Naylor and Mrs. Green chose Jackie as our Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship! Jackie is an all around great student in our classroom. She works well in every setting. She participates in her education and is always willing to offer help to other students. Jackie is a great encourager and likes to say words of affirmation to others. She is quick to help a teacher or staff member when needed. Way to go, Jackie! We are so proud of you!
Stella is Mrs. Miles Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship. She possesses many characteristics that help her to stand out as a phenomenal citizen in the classroom. Stella is a hard-worker and trust worthy. I can count on Stella to be one of the first students to start working right away during our independent work time. She follows school rules and is always willing to help a friend. I often hear her giving out advice to her peers such as "take your time; it's okay to make mistakes, that's how we learn, and just keep trying. Stella is a great leader in the classroom. Way to go, Stella!
Kaylee was nominated by her classmates as the Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship in Ms. Whiteford and Ms. Bee’s class! Here are some of the things Kaylee’s classmates had to say about her: Kaylee helps pick up trash around our classroom and school, she raises her hand in class and follows directions in class, and participates in our class activities. Ms. Whiteford and Ms. Bee couldn't agree more! Kaylee is an awesome example of citizenship and they are so happy to have her in their class!
Maecyn is the Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship for Mrs. Conklin and Mrs. Collins’s class. They say he is a wonderful example of citizenship. Maecyn is always looking for ways to help his teachers and classmates. He helps keep the room organized and clean and he models how to promote connections and relationships within our class family. Mrs. Hinnen and Mr. Hensley’s class chose Chloe as their Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship and her teachers couldn't agree more! Chloe is always prepared for class with her agenda signed, homework completed, and always on task! They say they are so lucky to have Chloe this year in their classroom and cannot wait to see what the school year holds for her. Keep it up Chloe!
Audrina was chosen by her peers to be this month's Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship for Mrs Jones's class. They say that Audrina follows both the school's and classroom's expectations at all times. She goes above and beyond with her school work and takes great pride in her work. Audrina is always demonstrating kindness and respect to both her peers and her teacher. Kennedi is Mrs. Wille's Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship. She always helps clean up our classroom at the end of the day. She is kind and helpful to anyone she meets. She follows all of our classroom and school rules. Kennedi tries her best everyday and is always willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. We are so proud of Kennedi and we are so thankful she is in our classroom.
Today is our school and sports physical clinic from 12-4pm at the middle school. Walk-ins are welcome. If your child is participating in an upcoming sports season, please bring them in for a sports physical!

Kyree is Ms. Trask Oustanding Oiler of Citzenship. Ms. Trask states Kyree is an excellent example of what it means to be a good citizen. He is always following the rules, being respectful, and giving his best effort to anything he does. He is a stellar role model to his peers. I am so lucky to have him in class. Brady is Ms. Jones Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship. Ms. Jones states he is such an excellent classmate and friend to others. Brady always encourages others, helps his friends when he can, and is an excellent example for others. I am so proud to have him in my class. Way to go, Brady!!! Keep up the great work.
Mason is Mrs. Booten and Mrs. McBride’s Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship. They say that Mason always takes pride in our school and keeps their classroom looking nice. He picks up trash outside of the school when they take a walk and Mason always makes sure his table area is clean. Mason is a great role model for the other students and always does the right thing at Eastwood School! Congrats MASON!
Mrs. Howell says it was no doubt that Michael was going to be their Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship! He is always doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching. He also helps his classmates do the right thing by reminding them of our school and classroom rules. He follows directions the first time asked, is the first volunteer to help clean up our classroom, and is an excellent errand runner. Mrs. Howell is so proud of him! Michael is a great member of their class family. :)
Noah was chosen for Ms. Baker's Outstanding Oiler of Citizenship because he is always a very kind student, both to his classmates and other teachers. Noah is always listening, honest, and helpful to everyone around him. He is always respectful to other students and staff, as well as respectful to our school and items in our classroom. He is always asking to help out in their room and help other friends whenever they need it. Noah shows great citizenship at our school, and Ms. Baker loves having him in their class!

Ms. Lakho says Brantley is the perfect example of an Outstanding Oiler for Citizenship. He is the first person to offer help to his peers and staff. He does his best to keep his area clean and always offers to clean the rest of the classroom. Ms. Lakho says Brantley is a pleasure to have in class :)
