Mrs. Schranck’s class chose G'Saun as their Outstanding Oiler of Cooperation because in class, he can be found listening to directions the first time and encouraging his peers to do the same. He is a leader in their classroom by being kind, respectful, and responsible. His manners and kindness to those around him are a couple of Mrs. Schranck’s favorite things about him. When you pass G'Saun in the hallway, you can almost guarantee he will have a smile on his face. G'Saun is new to our district this year, and we are so lucky to have received him! Keep up the great work, G'Saun!

Attention Eastwood families, during the weeks of April 3rd-April 11th, all 3rd-8th grade students will take one state IAR assessment per day in either Math and English Language Arts. No assessment can ever fully capture the skills and abilities of a great teacher or the extraordinary benefits and positive impact of a great school, however, the IAR will help provide a sense of where and how we are succeeding and where and how we must improve. The IAR assessment is designed to give schools and teachers more information to support improvement efforts and personalize teaching to better guide your child’s learning. Please find more information in the note linked below or in the image above. Thank you!

New Staff Spotlight
Dear Parents/Guardians, On Monday, April 8th, the district will be having a half-day School Improvement Day. Students will dismiss at 11:30am. Additionally, this is the day of the solar eclipse. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of this event, the district will be providing all students with solar eclipse glasses to take home. In addition to the eclipse glasses, we will be sending home activities for students to enjoy with their families during the afternoon. These activities are designed to enhance understanding of the solar eclipse and provide an opportunity for families to bond while observing this rare event. Please ensure that your child brings their eclipse glasses home and follows the instructions provided to enjoy the solar eclipse safely. We encourage you to supervise your child during this time and engage in the activities provided. Thank you for your continued support in your child's education.
